An Interview on History and Educational Media

1. Can you briefly summarize why you think history is a weapon of war against people?

Briefly?, not really, except to say Sun Tzu wasnt the first to notice that Propaganda was the first and most important part of conquest. Caesars won more through secret deals and blackmailing the likes of Herod and the Sanhedrin than they ever did through force of arms. We saw how guerillas work against a conqueror in Vietnam and even in Iraq at the present. I have written about fifty books. The framework for a new history that is based on forensics and science or artifacts rather than priestly power-mongers is now available.

2. But surely there are many who have written a truer history since the end of the Dark Ages?

Yes, but the destruction of libraries and the records of supposed beliefs in t hings like the Flat Earth or Kelts being barbarians is still a part of current scholarship because people quote Caesars Journals that were actually written by Hirtius or other Propaganda as if these reports are actual fair reportage to some extent as they say that is all we have. Michael Parenti and others like Howard Zinn of Harvard who have often been drummed out of Universities do tell a little of what I consider is true history. There has been some earlier authors quoted in the works of Herodotus and others once considered fiction but now being supported by actual artifacts.

3. What about when war is not going on? We still get the same history dont we?

I love how Joseph Campbell described the SPIN which occurred at the start of WWII in his address called Permanent Human Values to the women he taught at Sarah Lawrence University. It ended up getting him branded as a Nazi by some truly sadistic government mouthpieces in the media. In any event we have always been preparing for or engaged in war as I see it.

4. I recall having read that address, it was magnificent and should be required reading for everyone and covered before every movement of government towards more conflict. But surely you arent saying that all history is a lie, are you? Campbell didnt go that far.

No, of course not. There are always lots of facts presented along with dates and data that can boggle the mind of a good statistician. Mark Twain knew a lot about lies, damn lies and statistics though.

5. Yes, and we recently saw how the standard operating procedure of passing the buck or Hide the Ball worked on the cover-up of the real reason we invaded Iraq and all that weapons of mass destruction didnt we? But lets get into the Great Pyramid which you write volumes about. You make the point that the fit of the rocks or blocks cant be explained by the scholars who say Egyptians built it as some sort of make-work program now that the slaves fiction has been thoroughly disproven due to artifacts. In fact you have built a rather intricate charge of a conspiracy to destroy and lie about these things to the point of blaming WGBH and the video called This Old Pyramid. Can you substantiate these charges for my listeners?

I do, but it isnt done in a sound byte. Let me say this though. I saw a letter from David Suzuki of The Nature of Things in response to formal factual presentations from Davidovits and Morris about how they used modern equipment with forklift trucks and hardened steel tools to make that puny Pyramid which they didnt even have the guts to admit shifted in the sand. He noted he had not been given the footage or facts that showed these things. And when it comes to Hawass and his trotting out weird alien theories or theorists as i f that proves he is open to alternatives THAT is pure SPIN!

6. I found the part where Archaeology Magazine was printing articles saying the Sphinx and Pyramids were mere imitations of natural landforms a little bizarre. But that poured in place theory of Davidovits which you support doesnt explain the fit of the sarcophagus or the obelisks found in their quarries.

I support that as just one of the technologies they used and you are right it cannot explain a 1/150th inch tolerance in the lidless sarcophagus that never had any human remains in it. In fact no Giza Pyramid had any funerary purpose and no remains of humans have been found in them. The American Research Center in Egypt did use AMS accelerators to date biologics found inside the Pyramid in some places. These biologics like straw showed the Great Pyramid is 450 years older than the Step Pyramid which Egyptology says was built before the Great Pyramid.

7. Ok, I guess we cant cover all the other pos sible technologies that you and the likes of Christopher Dunn have shown could have been used. You really do have a passionate stance on the matter of Hawass and the likes of Cayce the Masonic agent and his Foundation which paid to educate Hawass and Lehner though.

I surely do have issues with liars and the Bible Narrative which ultimately justifies Manifest Destiny and blames G-d or attributes things to aliens when man is responsible for all these things. National Geographic and other Egyptologists outside that cabal have provided me with lots of good reading and I share these perspectives with my readers.

8. But you carry on about Kelts and Phoenicians to the point that it is almost impossible to imagine they really were all over the earth with the Red-headed League of Megalith Builders making the hundreds of Pyramids. And some of the uses of the Earth Energy Grid they are built to enhance which are located or aligned with; are really TOO fantastic to accept fo r someone who has not studied all the sources you quote.

I know that, believe me. There are no simple or true black and white answers that you can answer tests with in order to get a better grade. There are lots of good questions and I think those questions lead to us challenging the current leadership about why we arent using free energy or Tesla Technology and many other things dont you? As to Plato and the Atlantis fiction I now have genetics to support this real history. It shows white man was in the Americas as soon as he arrived in Europe and he may even have come to Northwest Europe from the Americas; before he arrived in Central Europe and Iberia or Spain. That was 30,000 years ago just shortly after the first white men (Kelts of the Caucasus) arrived in Casiberia.

9. Yes, I do see the corporate entities and names or other linguistic proofs of older scholars are soundly backed by genetics and the forensics like the cocaine from Peru in Egyptian mummies. B ut I am sure most people will have a hard time swallowing that their teachers have been so disingenuous.

My first wife and lifelong significant other is a teacher-leader and activist of some standing. I totally understand the difficulties they face. Kaoru Yamamoto does a good expos on the testing industry and the lack of teaching thinking or a Joy of Learning in the Kuipers Social Science Encyclopedia or other articles he has written. Alfred North Whitehead gave an address at Harvard in about the same time Campbell was talking in New York to the ladies of Sarah Lawrence. He makes a good case for the kind of real education that should have been occurring as do many others since him. How can a teacher pierce the veils of Propaganda and all the lies as well as baby-sit kids whose parents were nev er taught to teach in the first place? Is there anything more important to the future of humanity than breaking this Cycle of Violence where parents are allowed to train more deviates and dump all the same issues from generation to generation, as the system grinds down all individuality and aborts the soul?

10. Hey, I am the interviewer. I see what you mean but getting back to my question why should we believe your history rather than the one we have been taught?

I ask people to consider the facts and do their own research or checking. I have the quotes from the sciences and data in the archaeological record which supports cell diffusion history dont I? Most reviews from readers certainly suggest that Diverse Druids was a major impact on their view of history.

11. You say that the builders of the Great Pyramid or arch-tectons as the Septuagint calls the family of Jesus are still connected or part of what forces really govern us today. Yet you also seem ve ry amenable to the true teaching of Jesus. Do you really think the Merovingians and Stuart or Hesse/Battenbergs are related to the Rothschilds?

It is funny how people have no difficulty with connecting the Hapsburgs with the De Medicis and Borgia but the Rothschilds are supposed to be different and were merely good financial types. Yes, I am certain the Rothschilds were passed the whole spy network and monopoly through the adopted son of the De Medicis that goes by the name St. Germain. This monopoly that the Templars once had, included secrets of esoterics and trade in the era of Solomon or Joseph of Arimathaea and probably before Melchizedek.

12. You must get a lot of people calling you a conspiracy theorist. Your assertions leads to a person having to think their whole history has been a mere puppet show and all the wars were arranged to de-populate and keep people busy rather than finding out what really is going on.

It is highly complex and yet well-or chestrated. The last 150 years have actually been worse than any other time in history when it comes to wars and what the noted journal The Economist says is inhumane bureaucracy, which they call a Napoleonic legacy. His vision and reason for going to the Great Pyramid should be made into a movie.

13. But he never told people what he saw and you are just speculating, arent you?

Yes, but he was terrified and there are others who have been similarly impacted by some constructs they saw. If you read my book Hitler vs. Frabato and The Charm of Making I think you might agree my insight or speculation has some validity.

Better Red than Dead!

Red, perhaps the first color our eyes perceive.

It is said that people suffering from temporary color-blindness for whatever reason start to perceive red before they can discern any other color.

Red simply screams at us, demanding our attention. It may be the force of our collective human history, culture or genetics; we are dangerously attracted to this paradoxical, double-edged color which evokes an avalanche of emotions; Infra-red radiation produces a warm and pleasant healing effect; while the color red triggers aggression and violence. Red is the color of emotional outbursts, shyness, shame and anger all color our faces deep crimson. Red is blood, bravery, valor and courage. Ancient warriors painted their axes and spear-catapults red to endow their weapons with magic powers, a custom still followed by some Australian aborigines of today. Neolithic hunters and Germanic warriors even painted their bodies in the blood of slain animals, while Roman gladiat ors drank blood of their dying adversaries to take over their strength.

Red painted amulets or red gems, such as rubies or garnets, were used as charms against the evil eye and to bring about invincibility. Red bed-clothes were customary in Germany up to the Middle Ages as protection against red illnesses, such as fever, rashes or even miscarriages

Yet red is also the symbol of love and fidelity. Greek mythology tells us that red roses, dedicated to the Greek goddess of love Aphrodite, were born from Adonis blood when he was killed by a wild boar on a hunt. Red garlands and red scarves were part of wedding ceremonies in many cultures. Roman brides were wrapped in a fiery red veil, called the flammeum (Latin for flame-colored), supposedly warranting love and fertility. Greek, Albanian and Armenian brides wear red veils even today, and the Russian word for red (krassnyj) and beautiful (krassivyj) are curiously similar.

Red is also the color of lust, arguably the other face of love. Red is stimulating, appetizing and evokes erotic feelings. It is fire and passion; the sign of fallen women and the satisfaction of sexual yearnings which can be found in red light districts.

Red; drawing amazing images in our head. Danger, love, fidelity, lust, courage, ecstasy, protection and much more Im sure. Images which seem contradictory yet are all somehow connected.

A magical color, sometimes red spells danger and sometimes red announces the mating season perhaps not only in the animal kingdom (has anyone read The Naked Ape, by Desmond Morris?)

My specialty is chokers. My concept: painting with beads. With semiprecious stones, Venetian style, lamp, & faceted crystals/beads, I create limited edition pieces. After spending much time studying beads & bead history, I discovered that glass beads have an auspicious background just like diamonds, pearls, & semiprecious stone s. Inspired by this & by many pleasures in life, I design individual chokers that each have a name, a character, a story.

How I lost A million Dollars In A Bank Robbery

The Million dollars was my life-savings earmarked for prime the pump money for my biotech start-up. I am the Gerald Armstrong the owner of Gen Cells CuresGen Cells Cures is focused on private medical research for the individual. Searching for cures for incurable diseases and aging. Of course, with the best scientific technologies on the planet! With President Bush trying to ride the middle of the road on stem cell research and his rejection of therapeutic cloning. I packed my bags and went offshore. A great place to go, but leave your money at home. I transferred the money to a carribean island and the local banker stole every last penny.

The local government gave me back the money, but in their currency then devalued the currency almost 100% and I walked away almost flat broke. The banker also robbed 2.2 billion dollars of the local folks money. He bought himself out of the scandel and is enjoying my million along with the other billions he robbed and his new helo copters and yahts in his home-country! I am pretty sure he will show up on the Forbes billionaire list next year. Not a bad businessRobbing banks, if you have the conscience for it! Dont worry about the country, the International Monetary Fund stepped in to replace the stolen money, no questions asked. The American Embassy screamed for justice in the scandel but to no avail.

After the electric company cut my lights for non-payment I lost all of my cell lines and had to shut down the lab. Chris Reeve had expressed an interest in helping me get back on track before his untimely passing. I had to give up my small scale philanthropy of giving food to the poor people that I had met on the island. My favorite individual charity was a young lady and her three children whose husband had died of cancer in his early 60s. She and her children are on the street. I have discontinued her support because I dont have the $200 monthly it takes for her food and housing costs. I have contacted several billionaires for help in opening my doors again (the biotech and my food charity) while at the same time looking for their future cures. I was turned down flat by the Annenbergs from Pennsylvania, Jeff Skoll, Pierre and Pam Omidyar and Carl and Eloise Pohlad from Minnesota. James and Virginia Stowers never answered my letter. I was hoping for maybe some hand me down michroscopes from their biotech.

Hey but Jim Pattison the owner of Ripleys Believe It Or Not from Canada is considering us, and Kirk Kerkorian appreciated it, and Richard Branson is keeping us in mind in the event that he needs our services, however, Richard Branson probably has some of the best genes that any one could ever want living life like a teenager at 54 with all of his famous stunts. I wouldnt be surprised if he lives to be over 100 years old without Gen Cells Cures help. But a little help from Gen Cells Cures medical scientists could guarantee that he sees 100 plus! Plus! But lets wait to see what Donald has to say about the ideaThat is Donald trump. So far not one penny is back in the Gen Cells Cures coffers.

Dolores "DeeJazz" Jackson On The Move!

When Dolores DeeJazz Jackson sings, it's not surprising to see why her listeners are are dynamically captivated. DeeJazz delivers something unique: inspirational, message-rich lyrics, against the background of a beautiful and spiritual, jazz sound. Her voice is as readily remarkable to the human ear as it is definitively, distinctive. Particularly engaging, each one of her songs demonstrate her ability to easily hit a wide range of octaves. Her debut album, titled, A Musical Messenger, has the potential to inspire and transform lives for the greater.

Born in Michigan, USA, DeeJazz has spent most of her life in Detroit. Currently, she makes her home in North Carolina. As a college student, she was the recipient of thousands of dollars in scholarships. The singer/songwriter earned her B.A. in Advertising from University of Detroit, Mercy, and graduated Magna cum Laude.

I recently sat down and was honored with a rare, inside look of this amazing artist. Her CD, A Musical Messenger, has a generous, 14 tracks, and can be purchased at: http://www.Deejazz.com/

FranBriggs: Good Morning, DeeJazz. Thank you for meeting with me. And, congratulations on your spectacular accomplishment of masterfully blending jazz, inspirational, and spiritual music.

DeeJazz: Thank you so much, Fran. It is a pleasure to be with you.

FB:You produced your own album; was that a difficult decision?

DeeJazz: Producing my own album was not at all a difficult decision. It had been a dream of mine for a long time. I have been writing songs and playing them on the piano since I was 13. So, by the time I produced the album, I had quite a few years of writing and recording experience under my belt. But yes; there were times when I doubted by ability to do it by myself. After I completed several songs I presented them to some experienced producers for their opinions. One told me my production wasn't good enough and that I would need their help, I sensed their desire for control and, not to mention, compensation. Another told me my productions were great.

However, by this time confidence in my writing ability had matured to the point where I was feeling pretty secure. Nevertheless, I wanted the opinions of experienced writers/producers. I found out that they are people too.

I encourage anyone that loves real music to purchase this CD. I am confident that you will be uplifted. Musically, everything is there. Whether you're into up-tempo, ballads, introspection, inspirational, motivational, jazz, vocals, or instrumental, A Musical Messenger has it all!

- Michael L. Jones Producer/Director, Eye-On-U Productions, N. Hollywood, CA

FB: What are some of the most powerful truths you discovered about yourself after completing your fir st album?

DeeJazz: One of the most powerful things I discovered about myself after completing this CD was that I could actually fulfill my lifelong dream to be a composer. It was thrilling. Secondly, that I had something worthwhile to offer. For a long time I felt like a failure. After a failed marriage, I was struggling financially as a single parent of two small children and I had no direction for my future. Music was always a dream for me, but with little or no encouragement from my family, I felt discouraged. Completing this project taught me that I could accomplish what I put my mind to as long as I didn't let anything or anyone stop me.

FB: It's our understanding that you are an avid reader. How, and when did you acquire your love for reading? And, what books are you reading now?

DeeJazz: My love for reading started when I was kid when the bookmobile used to come to our neighborhood. I loved it! Growing up in Detroit --where not much was given to you and sometimes things were stolen from you -- I was so impressed that you could borrow books without paying for them. Actually, I'm still impressed by the library! I go every three weeks and sometimes more than that (laugh).

Right now I'm reading Dr. Maya Angelou's four-volume autobiography; also, a book titled, Word Smart. It teaches you how to improve your vocabulary. And, Seth Speaks. It's a new-thought phenomenon written in the early 70's by Jane Roberts, a woman who channeled a non-physical entity with some powerful spiritual information. I also just finished a great, great book called, The Disappearance of the Universe, by Gary R. Renard. It's an enlightening read mostly about the miracle of forgiveness. This book has changed my life.

FB: Dr. Maya Angelou -- a phenomenal woman. You actually met her, correct? Would you describe the experience?

DeeJazz: Yes. I met Dr. Angelou in August of this year. After hearing my CD she invited me to New York to sing for an open mic night at Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar. I saw her when she began walking down the aisle way. She appeared majestic in her red evening dress with escorts in front, and back of her. When she got close, she smiled and touched me on the shoulder. I felt like I had been touched by an angel. She was then taken to a private area where she would watch the show by monitor.

A little while later her assistant came to Hattie and I and guided us to her table. She shook our hands and was incredibly gracious and warm. She treated us like we were royalty. Amazing ... Hattie recited one of Dr. Angelou's quotes that had made an impression on her life and Dr. Angelou expounded on it eloquently adding even more insight. We felt blessed and honored to be in her presence. Afterward, I was told she commented on my performance saying it was, Delightfully impressive.

FB: What was it like collaborating with your sister, Hattie Mae Jackson-Pembrook, as she completed the com panion text for your album?

DeeJazz: Collaborating with my sister as she wrote the companion text, Messages to Awaken yourSelf, was a most exciting and rewarding time. When she was challenged around her abilities I would encourage and prod her along the way. I knew that she could do it and I reminded her how she had been my inspiration. When I was a teen, Hattie was a motivational speaker. I loved attending her speeches and I heard her say many times that she wanted to write a book. Well, the messages in my songs all came from books/classes and workshops she had exposed me to, so I knew this was the perfect opportunity for her to write her first book. After she completed a chapter, I would edit it to our mutual approval. We had minor clashes about which pictures to use, and occasionally she lamented: Another rewrite? But, we settled them quickly without much dissension.

FB:In the forward of Hattie's Book, Messages to Awaken yourSelf, you mention that you experien ced mental telepathy with a dog. Was it deliberate?

DeeJazz: Yes, it was deliberate. I don't know exactly how I discovered it, but I noticed the dog could hear me when I would think a command to him. It was a Great Dane. I told him to get up and come to me, and he did. Then I told him to go lay down, and he did. After doing this several times I was very surprised and decided I would show my little 9-year-old neighbor. I said, Watch this, I'll tell him to get up in my mind and he will. So, I did, and the dog responded. Then, I gave the mental command to lay down and he followed again. Needless to say, my little friend was highly impressed. However, mental telepathy as well as other so called extra-sensory perceptions, are common place when we remove the erroneous belief of ourselves as mere, human beings. At that time I had been faithfully practicing for three months a powerful technique of awakening called, The Pathway's, by Ken Keyes, Jr. His book is titled, Handbook to Higher Consciousness.

FB: Your album continues to receive raving reviews from the music industry. What kind of reception have you had from listeners?

DeeJazz: Frequently, people come to me after performances proclaiming they were deeply moved or helped in some way. I have been referred to as anointed and people have expressed gratitude that I have followed my divine calling. I've heard people say they have been helped through relationship problems, recovery from drug and alcohol addiction as well as money and health issues by my songs. Recently a woman in church told me that she was dealing with a situation that she had expected to benefit her life tremendously when suddenly it came to a disappointing close. She felt bad but then quickly decided to look for the good in the situation. Instantly, one of my songs, Darkest B4 the Dawn, began playing in her head and she started singing it. She said she knew it was a message from God. I've been told my songs are the rapeutic, uplifting, timeless, and one never gets tired of listening. I am deeply honored by their comments and give credit where it is due, to the Most High.

FB:How long have you been writing, arranging and producing your own music? Is it as challenging as it is fun?

DeeJazz: I started writing poems when I was around 10 years old and I began putting music to them at 13. I would play the music on the family piano as I sang the songs. Sometimes I would make up instrumental songs and play them with intense passion. I didn't know at the time but it was a way for me to release tension.

Writing music has been challenging, but mostly it's been fun. I had two music classes in my life. But I found the literal writing and reading of musical notes tedious and too technical to contain my interest. I play and write by ear. I hear the songs in my head and then play what I hear. I feel the most important thing to learn about songwriting is structure. For example; verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, ... etc. There are several structures but most songs follow the same basic structure. Once I learned song structure it became easier because I knew where to put what. What I love most about song writing is hearing it grow from what I heard in my head, to what I hear outside of it.

FB: Who are the individuals that you recognize as your mentors?

DeeJazz: Just recently, Maya Angelou has become one of my mentors. After hearing my CD she took an interest in me -- and I in her. I am learning so much from reading her autobiography. She is an extraordinary woman. She overcame many obstacles, one after another and still, she rose. I am learning from her example.

I have always liked reading biographies of other songwriters/artists and using them as inspiration. I've read about Barry White, Patti Labelle, Barry Gordy, Queen Latifa, Dolly Parton and others.

FB: The lyrics in your song titled, This Gift of Mine, include:

< p>Every day is blessing

A gift to us with love

But we must heed

The call to succeed,

That's our gift to God

FB:What would you say to the individual who is struggling with hearing -- or seeing -- their call to succeed?

DeeJazz: I feel we all have a calling, so to speak, for our lives. There is something that you were born to do. Hattie states in her book that Michael Jordan says he was born to play basketball. That might sound frivolous to some, but as anyone can attest to, Michael Jordan's astounding athletic skill is nothing short of miraculous and would most likely be considered a divine gift. If a person is struggling with discovering their call to succeed, it is probably because it's the thing they've always dreamed of, but are most afraid to do.

FB: In her book and on her website, Hattie shares a touching story on her website about her longing for not only a sister -- but a companion. Could you summarize it for us?

DeeJazz : I guess it was supernatural but some part of her was waiting for me. She was graduating from high school when I was born and she truly loved me unconditionally. Growing up I cannot recall one time that she raised her voice to me or made me feel bad about anything. We have always been mentally and spiritually close, sharing our love of ideas, self-help information and spirituality. Now, this CD/Book project is becoming more successful than we initially anticipated. We are in the process of preparing ourselves for whatever it brings.

FB: Tell us about your current and forthcoming projects.

DeeJazz: Hattie and I are in the planning stages of a nationwide tour. We'll be doing a full stage production/concert. I will sing with a live band/orchestra including background singers. And, at times, it will be accompanied by interpretive dancers/actors. Hattie will expound with spiritual insights during extended instrumental sections of the songs. Also, we will do workshops consisting of her speaking and my singing. The participants get lots of hands-on awakening experiences using tools and methods we have used and that have worked in our own lives. We're also planning another CD/book combo.

FB: That sounds like a magnificent production... In reference to your use of awakening experiences, would you say that in our natural state we are simply unaware of, or do we intentionally suppress the Greatness within us?

DeeJazz: In our truly natural state, we are awake. Awake within our Spiritual Oneness with everything and everyONE. However, in our unnatural state, which is nearly everyone's daily experience, we most definitely suppress the Greatness within us. How many of us suppress acceptance, understanding and forgiveness in everyday situations? Most of us, most of the time.

Awakening requires a decision. A decision that says the way we have been living, is not working. A decision that if we, meaning, If I don't accept the respons ibility to change it, who will? In our workshops we seek to inspire an awakening experience in the participants so they can have a personal encounter or a remembrance of what it feels like to be awake.

FB: Is there anything you would like to add before we go?

DeeJazz: Lately, I've been experiencing intense gratitude. The information that I am being guided to is literally changing my life experience. The powerful ideas and methods that I learn and practice are what I convey in my songs in an effort to help people wake up to their innate divinity. We are spiritual beings and until we wake up to this fact, we will remain asleep and will not experience our true reality, which is love.

FB: Thank you, DeeJazz for taking the time to share. I certainly enjoyed my time with you.

DeeJazz: Thank you, Fran for allowing me this wonderful opportunity to share.

Israel Has No Right To Protect Its People From Hamas?

The blogosphere is really heating up these days with political rhetoric as those who support Palestinians are claiming that Israel is evil and the Palestinians had every right to elect Hamas or the International Terrorist Party into power. Come again? What are they saying, it is okay to elect by a 60% margin a group of murderers and criminals into power?

Now the political rhetoric is saying that Palestinians have a right to attack Israel? Do they really now? And they are also saying that the Jews stole their land and forced them to leave, yet not all the Palestians in the Jerusalem area or the new Jewish State were forced to leave and that was in 1948? We are in 2006 and that is nearly 60 years ago and that issue does not give anyone the right to go and blow up Buses, hotels or discos full of innocent people now. And many of the Palestians chose to leave their homes not wishing to live inside what was then Israel or along side it. The Palestians were living in that section of Jordan and no one said it was necessarily their land.

Additionally there were both Jews and Palestians living there together before and a lot of interbreeding too. In 1967 the Six Day war was an attack by the Arabs against the Jews and in that war the Jews captured more land and set up an additional buffer zone. Wouldnt you have done the same thing to prevent future events? The Arab army was annihilated, but they started it.

You see out on the political Blogs there is a lot of baloney and in case this is still a huge issue rather than a history lesson; Geez they gave them back more settled territory recently. But did that stop the attacks or suicide murders? Only for a very short time. Israel or any other nation has the right to defend its people and protect them from criminals, violence and International Terrorism.

May I ask why this is under debate now or why some feel it is okay to have an International Terrorist Party in charge in Palestine, knowing the history of the murdering suicide bombings? Why is it okay for Iran to fund this group, as they will only use the money to attack the Jews? We are in the year 2006 and the Palestinians in all their hate and rage have no intention of peace. Consider this in 2006.

Precious Stones v.s. SemiPrecious Stones

Stones have been worn by both women and men since prehistoric times. Just as in the jewelry of modern times, beautiful stones, rare and colorful, are most often the dominant feature of a piece with a metallic setting for ornamentation.

The stones used in the crafting of fine jewelry are generally divided into two classes- precious stones and semi-precious stones.

These terms are used heavily in the commercial world of jewelry when considering variety and value. While Artistic merits are only a matter of opinion, the value of a stone is what it will bring in the marketplace. It should also be mentioned that many people, collectors and general consumers alike, prefer the rare to the beautiful.

These stones are simply rocks (minerals) taken from the eArth, and after they have been enhanced by the Artisans cutting and polishing, the finest and rarest of them are what we call gems.

Precious Stones

The most precious stones are the diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires. The pearl is oftentimes classed with precious stones. Although strictly speaking while it is not a stone it holds an esteemed place in jewelry.

Semi-Precious Stones

A large number of stones used in jewelry are known as semi-precious; the most important ones are as follow: amethyst, lapis-lazuli, turquoise, aquamarine, topaz, moonstone, peridot, opal, tourmaline, zircon, chrysoberyl, alexandrite. Others of less importance although much used are: chrysopra se, jade, garnet, agate, azurite, malachite, bloodstone, coral, carnelian and many others. These stones while comparatively common and inexpensive are indispensable to the worker in jewelry. The variety of colors to be had in these stones make it possible to produce unusual designs of Artistic merit and to adapt them to the personality and costume of the wearer. Rituals and Identity The Case Of October The Twelfth

A ritual is the celebration of an important event. Sometimes the importance of the event fades or the celebration changes due to some reason. In Holland -- for example -- there is a national holiday on the thirtieth of April, due to a Royal tradition; the celebration of the queen birthday. In fact that specific date is no longer the birthday of the actual Queen, but that doesnt make the celebration less important. In fact the 30th of April continuous to be a national day. And a day off.

Rituals are important because they forge the Identity of a group. And it can also be used to rebuild the Identity of a group.

The twe lfth of October is a day that is celebrated by many countries in the world, all referring to the same event. Yet throughout the years the celebration has been changed in the various countries, according to the interpretation of the historical event that lies behind the tradition.

In Spain for example the twelfth of October is a national holiday. It is called Hispanic Day (Dia de la Hispanidad) and celebrates the discovery of America by Columbus. But not everybody in Spain shares the ritual. There is a small group in Catalonia that does ritualize this celebration but as an a Spanish imperialistic legacy, to which they oppose.

In South America (Argentina, Chile, e.o.) the twelfth of October is also celebrated but as the -- Day of the race. The race refers to the new heritage that emerges from the Spanish and indigenous cultures.

More recently, in Venezuela the same day is baptized as the -- Day of Indigenous Resistance, also a new interpretation that goes wit hout saying. Also in the U.S. the same day is celebrated under the name Columbus Day. But apparently even there appears to be a group that doesnt agree with this ritual. In the state of Minnesota, Columbus Day is not celebrated, because many people in Minnesota believe that Vikings arrived in North America before Columbus.

The way in which these Rituals are differentiated amongst the various communities show how each group protects is Identity. In the Netherlands there is a group that uses the 30th of April to exhibit republican ideas. In Spain we see a similar differentiation where sub-communities follow their own plan (probably not only in Catalonia). But in the end, even though a few will oppose to the national Identity (and ritual), they will accept their day off, and that is probably enough for the ritual to be successful.
